Harmonic progression for major key.

Harmonic progression for minor key.

  1. Start and end with "I" if possible.
  2. Penultimate chord is "V" if possible.
  3. Write all other chord options under other melody notes.
  4. Check Harmonic Progression.
  5. Change chords for every melody note.

The powerfull harmonic progression uses the circle of 5th: iii - vi - ii - V - I.
